In love with writing long before she knew how to spell, Deborah grew up spinning tales for five younger siblings (though the older two were probably also listening), penning stories on whatever paper she could find, and dreaming of being a Writer. She had her first non-fiction magazine article published at sweet sixteen, and has had many published since. Novels are where her heart is really at, though, and she has many works-in progress. She lives in the country outside Melbourne with her husband and little son, and has a permanent pen-callus on one finger, though it’s often hard to see under the ink stains!
